No, they cannot catch chicken pox.  However, other primates, such as
monkeys and apes can, and they can be life-threatening.  But your
ferrets are fine.
 
What parameters are you using to diagnose kidney disease?  (You may want
to also check the FHL archive, as we have discussed this topic before...)
