hi,
i've sorta gotten into a situation with a local pet store.  they sell
ferret kits that contain pine shavings.  i talked to the manager about
possibly replacing the shavings (a few weeks ago) and she said she had a
couple of people tell her that they were bad, and she said the shavings
came in the kit along with cage and accessories from a company.  after
looking around, i noticed some other ferret kits that looked like they
were put together by the store employees.  i was wondering if there were
any web sites that gave information on why shavings are bad and how they
are, and maybe print it up and give it to the manager.  she seems like a
nice person.  thanks
