[log in to unmask], 27 Dec 2001 03:20:00 EST523_- Hi all,
Hope everyone had a merry xmas and all the ferts are happy n healthy!
Over the past week I was ferret siting Spaz. I met the owner, karen, on
here, the FML. I have 9 ferrets. 1 i keep seperate from the others only
because shes extremley dosile, timid, sweet as anything and the others
tend to rough her up a bit. Therefore, she gets seperate playtime with
only 1 other ferret, rockie, whom is also timid. So when Spaz arrived,
also timid, I put him with Sandie (the fert thats seperate). [...]37_27Dec200103:20:

[log in to unmask], 26 Dec 2001 02:17:43 EST546_- A couple of weeks ago, me and my husband went to the petstore to stock up
on some ferret supplies, and to grab some treats for a couple of fuzzies
for the Christmas List thing. While walking past the fuzzies, i had to
stop and play with them, and under a little igloo was the cutest little
dark eyed patterned white, first one i had ever actually seen. I played
with him while my hubby searched for a silver, there was none. So, after
we played, we proceeded to get out supplies and came home. Three days
later, all i [...]38_26Dec200102:17:

[log in to unmask], 26 Dec 2001 11:19:32 -0500297_- I have 4 rescues, ages 6 months, 9 months, 3 years and 3-5 years. No one
has ever had a sick visit to the vet. The oldest had a cold that lasted 3
days, but was still playing. Ferrets are like all mammals, as they get
older, they tend to be weaker and more susceptible to disease. [...]42_26Dec200111:19:

[log in to unmask], 26 Dec 2001 22:00:44 EST287_- O.K. Corona's causing another problem. I bought her some FerretLax to
cut down on hairballs. I tried to give her some straight from the tube,
like I've heard you can do, and she won't eat it. How else can I give it
to her?
