I received the following from Dr. Karen Rosenthal of the Animal Medical
Center in New York City.  Many FML readers know of her - she works at the
exotics department there and deals with ferrets (especially insulinomas)
and birds.  Anyhow, I've been asked to help spread the word... Bill
