Has anyone used melatoma on ferrets? Noodles vet recommended it for her
since the hydroxyzine isn't doing anything really. She said .5 mg 6 hours
after sunrise....why is this? i am just curious. Her next checkup is
next thursday, and i am hoping it is just allergies or something similar.
Has anyone ever had a ferret that severely scratched and lost hair, but
didn't have adrenal?upon inspection, the back of her neck and her head had
small stubble, like the hair was growing back....not much, but like what
it looks like after you dont shave your legs for a week....... It may be
adrenal though, but i want to try some possibilities though.....it is like
everywhere she scratches she loses hair....right now she's biting her bum
and bottom of her feet, and scratching her ears and neck and belly(which
is baby butt smooth and has a few hairs here and there...she's also losing
fur on her face....is this normal in adrenal?
any advice would be greatly appreciated, experiences etc.
also her belly seems a little big...sorta like a pot bellied ferret :) i
am going to try and take some pictures and post them on the web somewhere,
and hopefully that'll help, unfortunately my camera isn't that great of
resolution :( if you have any experiences or comments, please help :)
thanks

****TRUMPETS BLARING****
~Buckie war dances out with a tiny trumpet hanging from his neck by a
string~
Buckie::Greetings!!!! I'm the new ferret!!! Mommy wanted me to announce
that the raffle for the starch peanuts is still continuing!!
*dooks*
All the proceeds go to S.O.S.!!!!
*alligator rolls*
AND!!!! There are two boxes of starch peanuts....18in wide and 12 in tall
(that's a lot of peanuts!) but that's not all!!
One box will have a Ferret roll about ball, where silly little fuzzbutts
like myself can roll around the house in (with supervision of course)
because we love to pretend like were hampsters!!!(well i do anyway) It
will also have bell toys!!!!(handmade with love) Plus a hammock!(all
neatly packed in starch peanuts...how ironic!)
The second prize box will have peanuts (of course), handmade bell toys, a
waterbottle, a hammock, and a litter box!!
All of this is donated by my mommy to help out S.O.S. and since $ is
tight these days, these items are even more special. We hope you have it
in your heart to help out all of those needy ferrets, (some of the utah
one's too) that need meds, surgeries, and plenty of love with just $1 can
make a difference, and most of you shelters out there know what I am
talking about.
If you would like to purchase a raffle ticket for starch peanuts, you can
send $ by paypal to S.O.S. directly, but to be accounted for the tickets,
i will need a forwarded copy of the receipt and you need to mention starch
peanuts somwhere.
Or, if you don 't have a paypal account, you can send check or money order
made out to S.O.S. or Support Our Shelters to:
