This is what I sent to Petsmart. I am also going to send something minus
the first paragraph to Petco.

The ferret information on your website shows ferrets sleeping on wood
shavings. I am sure it was just an oversight, but ferrets sleep in
hammocks and are allergic to cedar wood shavings and can produce serious
respiratory problems. Many people use the carefresh litter that you sell,
or wood pellets for wood stoves, no cedar. How about showing the ferrets
on hammocks and have a link to sell them on your website. I think you
could sell a lot of hammocks that way.

Also there are lots of ferret sites that would love to have you link to
them, thus providing more information about and for ferrets. Just a few
I can think of are:

hey what about making these brochures available to customers and
definitely to those who purchase a ferret?

Products for Ferrets, some that your store supplies, but lots more they
don't. How about selling some of these specialty items in your stores?

Also, would you mind carrying glass hanging water bottles for small
animals? I have found they smell like gasoline inside, which I think
makes the water taste bad and who knows what chemicals they are getting.
Also glass water bottles are so much easier to clean and sterilize because
they can go right into the dishwasher. To see what they look like and who
manufactures them go to http://www.ferretstore.com/16ozwatbot.html and
look about halfway down the page.

Thanks for listening.
