Today was vaccination day for 4 of the 5 fuzzies. Last year Echo and
Tally had severe reactions to the Feravac and so; with Merial purevax
ready and the fuzzies premedicated just in case, off we went.

The vaccinations went well and we waited 35 minutes with no reaction.
Back into the carrier they went, and on the way home Tally started to
vomit. I did the most illegal of u-turns and back all of us went. They
took her back vomiting with bright red pads, lethargic and almost limp.
After steriods, epi and even a little oxygen she perked back up and her
nailbeds went from red to pink. She is home, curious, but exhausted.

I have not heard of any ferret having a reaction to this vaccine. My vet
now says that Tally cannot be vaccinated again. She is six years old and
I expect will live many more years because she is quite healthy.
Suggestions? Comments? Anything can help. Thank you
