Hello again,
I posted this separately from my initial question because I feel the need
to do so.
I find it irritating that lately so many people have been posting short
"ads" to sell their ferts. I acquired Penelope from a neighbor for free;
he just couldn't give her love and attention she desparately required. I
acquired Abe from a shelter for $50.00; this fee obviously went towards
the welfare of the other ferts. It just irks me that "people" have been
posting ferret "ads" for $100+++. For instance in the issue today, it is
the first thing I see. The ferret comes with supplies, so maybe that is
why the ferret costs so much? But if the owner really wanted the ferret
to go to a good, loving home, why wouldn't they charge less to ensure
their baby goes to a good home? Or mention the money is going to be
donated to a shelter?
I just find it irritating is all. There are so many ferrets in the world
being bought and sold for huge profits; and yet there are so many more
sitting in shelters waiting to be loved again.
That's just my two cents.
Thanks,
Stephanie & Patrick, and my two babies Abe & Penelope
