Hi--
My old boy Mace, a brown nosed, dark sable boy with a full mask went in
for adrenal surgery today. The outcome was successful and he's home
tonight. I mixed up a little turkey baby food, whipping cream and
nutrical for when he decides to eat. He's still coming out of his
anesthia and is a sleepy boy.
He was a Doug McKay boy, so I'm a bit uncertain about his age. I thought
he was a year old when I got him. He was a pretty mellow boy. I suspect
now, he might be a year or two older, since non of the other ferrets I got
that year have had any serious health problems yet.
I picked him up about 2:30 pm and took him to a client's office where I
was working today. I had him under the desk in his sick cage. He was
talking in his sleep.
After losing, Suki, on Sunday night, I was a fraid that the outcome from
Mace's surgery might not be the best.
