Hello everyone,
It's been eons since I've posted, but I caught sight of Rainbow Bridge
in today's FML and it brought to mind a poem that the late Dayna Frazier
sent me after I lost a very special fuzzy 'way back in 1994. It's called
"A Request From Rainbow Bridge" and it goes like this:
Weep not for me though I am gone
Into the gentle night.
Grieve if you will, but not for long
Upon my soul's sweet flight.
I am at peace, my soul's at rest
You have no need for tears.
For with your love I was so blessed
For all those many years.
There is no pain, I suffer not;
The fear now all is gone.
Put these things from out your thoughts;
In your heart I still live on.
Remember not my fight for breath,
Remember not the strife.
Please do not dwell upon my death,
But celebrate my life.
--Anon
Dedicated to all those who have lost their precious ones.
C.B. and Maximilian
