Autumn and Spring BOTH are times when fur in shed and fur is regrown naturally (and sometimes other times of year can be if artificial lights and too few ways to get into total darkness cause hormonal confusion for our dark-adapted critters). We have not personally seen a difference in the rates of benign adrenal growths with covers (but we also are not a large enough sample to tell); however, we have not had any adrenal malignancies since we began using covers (again, same qualifier attached).
