About taking ferrets into Mexico:

I have traveled to Belize, Guatemala and Honduras with my two ferrets.
In addition, I have brought them back into the country at least 5 or 6
different times. As long as they have valid immunization papers and a
health certificate required by the airline (if you are flying), I have
had no problems as all with re-entry to the States.

If you want to know the accepted procedure of getting animals into most
Latin American countries, I can help you out on that, too. Just send me
an email.
