Thanks once again to G.C.F.A. for their dedication and extreme ferret love.
Great show guys!!

Pictures of what the show looks like are at
www.blurryfurrys.com/chi-2001.html thanks to Ron.

Big airy place, large tables, lots of goodies you won't find anywhere
else, ferrets I never see the likes of anywhere else, selfless rare ferret
folk, food, drink, raffles, ribbons, laughter, silly fun matches: people
united in their love of the ferret.

Purchases:
A pin of two ferrets--already a conversation piece. Only $15.

A sweatshirt with the American flag AND ferrets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How
high can you go? Only $20. in extra large. It is a true extra large-not
one of those cheap sweatshirts

A new snugly sack to carry my ferrets in that is wider and deeper than my
old one. Well made, and ultra soft inside and out: about $34.

A red soft large tube made of clothe with balls dangling inside that the
ferrets run through from GCFA: about $20.

3 ferret figures-small-in different stones from GCFA. I never saw these
before: $10 each

Totally Ferret-15 pound bag--priced much less than I could get it anywhere
else.

3 tubes for my ferrets to run through for the next year. Thank you Rick.
A steal.

Two large ferret figures from Mary of FAIR. Normally these are about $30.
They were $10 each at the show.

A picture of a black eyed white ferret and prayer written by Albert
Schweitzer framed in brass and glass. It made me cry. It is going in
my office.

And then there were SOOO many great gifts being raffled it was mind
boggling as to which to chose. So we laid down $60. and spent about an
hour deciding what to do with all of our tickets.

As has happened every year-my niece told me that of all the places she
travels to around the world during the year on vacations: the G.C.F.A.
show is her favorite day of the year. I am NOT kidding you. She has
more fun at this show than even Disney World.

I want to especially say thank you to the people of GCFA who had to work
from early morning until late at night to care for all of the ferrets at
the shelter while WE were having a superb vacation day at the lovely
Dupage County Fair grounds.. Thank you for your sacrifices guys.
