Is it possible that there's something about having adrenal that causes
compulsive behavious in some ferrets?

I have a compulsive groomer - The minute you pick her up, she starts
grooming you - regardless of who's picking her up. She will groom your
face, hair, arm....I swear if she slept with me, I'd be completely chapped
in the morning!!

I cannot put her together with other ferrets as they don't appreciate her
aggressive grooming behavior.

A co-worker of mine has a 7 year old ferret who has gone adrenal, and has
started digging at feet - it also seems to be a compulsive behavior - "if
I'm out, I'm going to dig at your feet". This is a new behavior for this
ferret who has had only one "hooman" all her life.

Any ideas??
