The Japan Ferret Association has had an angora specialty ring at all of
their shows (5 total).  And they have quite a few entries since there are
many Japanese angora ferret owners.
 
The AFA is always open to new specialty rings.  Our last show in
Gettysburg introduced the Roan Specialty after being requested from our
exhibitors.
 
In order for an angora specialty ring to be offered at an AFA show, first
it needs to sponsored and then there need to be more than 5 entries.
 
The show packets for Holiday Ferret Expo 2001 (Dec 8) at the Frederick
Fairgrounds in Frederick MD have been printed and will be going in the
mail Monday.  Our next show will be Ferret Expo 2002 (March 23)at the
York Fairgrounds in York, PA.
 
All those interested in an angora specialty ring at the York show please
