Kudos to the person on the list who cautioned AGAINST using foods
containing animal by-products for the fact that it contains "downers"-
animals diseased or dead before being processed.  Let me add another
disgusting fact- it also contains our COMPANION ANIMALS- including their
skin and fur.  Euthanized animals are also picked up by rendering
companies and added to this slosh.  It's not illegal and is VERY common.
I don't think I need to remind you that BSE exists in many forms including
possibly, but not proven, in our pets.  BSE, a.k.a Mad Cow Disease, you
may remember expresses itself lethally as Jacob-Creutzfeld in humans,
although not proven in existence in the United States- but there have been
questionable links made.  Not to mention that euthanisia drugs used are
not broken down completely by the rendering and cooking process before
it's fed back to our pets!
 
Please everyone think about what any of your pets eat.
