I don't know what the ALF will do with the ferrets, but I sent them a nice
email explaining that ferrets are extremely helpless animals, and that
they can't survive without human care.  I also provided them with the
addresses of both the regular and anonymous posts for this list, and said
that they would be able to find homes/drop off contacts for the ferrets
through the list, if needed.
 
I take no position on the ethics/policies of the ALF in general, or this
particular action.  I just wanted them to know that if they needed help
with the ferrets, that the FML is here, as we're here for everyone.
