I'm sorry to hear of your ferrets passing.  I just wanted to post because
you mentioned a CJ in your post.  I hope it wasn't me.  I don't recall the
incident but I have been on pain meds for a while.  If by chance it was me
don't think I blame you nor would I think anyone else would on his death.
I do know that ferrets can choke on a piece of food and it can lead to
death.  Venom may have had something else wrong, and only a necropsy can
determine the cause of death.
