The following is an announcement from Christopher Bennett, the father of
the Ferret Health List.  The current moderators are: Christopher Bennett,
Troy Lynn Eckart, Dr. Bruce Williams, Mike Janke, Pam Sessoms, and me,
Sukie Crandall.  At this point in time the FHL is approximately 6 months
and a week or two old, and has 1,026 members, including a number of experts
such as multiple ferret vets, at least one geneticist, a pile of bones
(Opps, I mean Bob.), etc.
 
I am sending this announcment before the digest number is out.

       Subject:  Proudly Announcing our Newest Moderator
 
It is with great personal pleasure that I get to announce the addition of
our newest moderator.  Pam Sessoms has pretty much been our unofficial
librarian since virtually the beginning.  If you've not seen her tireless
efforts..  go look at the vet list or the acronymns list in the file
library and you will see how remiss I've been in not begging her to be a
moderator before now.  She's already an invaluable asset to the list, I'm
so pleased to be making it official.
 
Please join me in welcoming her.  I am going to ask, as usual, that anyone
who wishes to welcome her, do so off-the-list in the interest of keeping
the volume down.
 
Welcome aboard Pam and thank you for all you've done already.
