Hi everyone.
I know this is a ferret list, and I am definitely a ferret owner, but I'm
hoping I can post a message about my cat. She was diagnosed yesterday with
Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome (aka ventricular preexcitation), and I'm
trying to search the net for more information about this condition in cats.
I've found a lot about WPW in humans but want specific articles about
felines. The vet prescribed atenolol once a day for the remainder of her
life. She's 3 years old. Has anyone else experienced this with their
cat or could anyone direct me where to go to find out more? From what I
understand, it is VERY rare in cats. I know there are many wonderful
people on this list who know so much about ferts, but I also know many of
us have opened our hearts to other species of critters, so that's why I
thought you might be able to help.
Thanks,
Shyla
