My fiance's ferret Venem died yesterday.  She had lost a LOT of weight and
for 2 days I fed her Eukanuba Maximum Calorie food from my finger, trying
to help her.  I got the food from my vet and when my ferret Demon was sick
years ago I fed him something similar and it helped him beyond measure.  I
think poor Venem was just too sick by the time I gave her the food, but CJ
thinks she didn't digest it (choked) and blames the food (and me, I guess)
for her death.  Has anyone used this food or something like it?  Does
anyone have any thoughts on the subject?  Not only do I feel terrible
because I loved Venem, but now I feel guilty too.  My only comfort is
that at least she is with Demon, who died Sept. 9th so she isn't alone.
