Some of you may remember several weeks ago, a person posting about giving
up their ferret in Omaha, NE. Well, O'Dell, the fert-in-question, came
to my home on Saturday.

His daddy was transfered to California, and was moving in with a roommate
he did not know, so decided that finding O'Dell a loving home here would
be best.

O'Dell is a sweet boy, just over a year old, and very happy and healthy.
His daddy nearly cried when we prepared to leave. (He didn't follow us
out to the car, either, and I think that is why.) He took very good care
of O'Dell, and asked me to keep him updated on his progress and such.

So far, he is a wonderful addition to the household. A real lover, though
I'm not sure he quite understands what is happening. I think he "looks"
for his daddy quite often. Which, of course, breaks my heart. Just
thinking about being parted from any of my guys hurts so much as it is,
watching this little one struggle through is very difficult. But that is
what I'm there for.

Anyway, just thought you all might like a follow up on whatever did happen
to the little boy in Omaha. He's with me now, and what a love!
