Well, indeed Patch and Lily do NOT have the flu. My husband getting sick
was just coincidence to them getting ECE. Ick! Yep, those visiting
ferrets were to culprits.

(Of course, I came home the Friday before to discover that the owners had
dropped off the ferrets sans cage and my husband had tossed them into the
ferret room with no thought as to disease exposure. Oh well, I guess that
won't happen again!)

The vet said Lily was eating kibble fine, but Patch hadn't been seen
eating kibble yet. We've got turkey babyfood/ensure mixture to feed twice
daily plus Pepto and amoxi-drops and their normal pediapred. Both ferrets
seem fine and happy to be home.

Well, I got to go make us some food and medicate ferrets. *grin*
