Dear FML'ers;
I was @ work today when I recieved a call from a customer of ours. She
said she needed a copy of a bill for her purposes. She went on to say she
was renting a house to a couple; when they moved out, she realized they
had done a lot of damage to the place. Regardless, she went to the house
a few days after they had moved to find an abandoned ferret all by his
lonesome in the vacant house! She went to the local gas station, and
accidentally left the door open. Thus the poor little guy got out and has
not been seen again! She went on to tell me that she is an animal lover
and she felt bad. I only wish I could have done something! I know I
can't change things, but I just feel awful! How can people be so cruel &
heartless. Pets can't fend for themselves! How can someone just leave
pet to die? I wish I could hunt these people down and turn them in! It
makes me sick! It just made it very clear to me that things like this
happen everyday! Isn't that a scary thought in itself?
