We use Bi-Odor here, and it does live up to its claims! I would
reccommend it.

You ask if it tastes bad...uuummm...I haven't actually tasted it, so I
wouldn't know, but I mix it in with the water every day and no complaints
from the ferrets. They drink it with no complaints or disgusted looks.

You can buy it in larger quantities at theferretstore.com (and I'm sure
other places, too, but why would anyone shop anywhere else?) and it comes
out a little less expensive that way.

When I first heard about it, I was skeptical. I bought it and took it to
our vet for his opinion and approval, and he said that it was fine. Just
amino acids or something. They've been fine and healthy while consuming
it, and that's been over a year. Does it get rid of *all* odor? NO. But
it sure is an improvement. I don't mind their smell, either...but I also
don't mind it smelling LESS! That's fine with me! :-) I was concerned
about it interfering with their digestion, I asked the vet, "will the poop
just smell better because the food isn't properly digested? Will this
interfere with their intestinal tract's absorption of the nutrients in the
food?" but he said it wouldn't, and it apparently hasn't.

Hope this helps,
