I recieved an email from the new mommy of Garcia and she reported that he
was getting along better than she even expected. He played a lot with the
new sibings and even cuddled up to the one that is big like him and has
the same markings. He has taken to them like I thought he would. He
loves humans dispite the fact that he was neglected by his first owner. I
couldn't sleep last night until I got that email and once I did I went to
bed with wonderful visions of the home he was in where he was accepted.

We started on our ferret room. My other three ferrets are rascals but
they can run free in the house without being too much of a menace. We
needed something to keep us busy last night and to let us bond even more
with our remaining babies. We made a ramp out of carpet and plywood, a
cardboard box with holes for their heads all around, connected to a dryer
tube. The tube runs through several obstacle courses and is taped against
the side of the wall. A pvc pipe runs under the ramp. We are still in
the process of looking for cool things to set up the room. When they get
out of their cage every morning they go straight for that room. It's very
exciting. Any other home made ideas for a ferret room? I think someone
posted that same question a day ago but I didn't see any responces on the
forum itself.

Peace,
Julia and her spiteful ferrets
