A lot of ferret people order food from Jeffers Pets, me being one of them,
and I received this in my email this morning:

(In case the link is broken, it is a request for donations for money for
Jeffers to provide boots, antibiotics, etc... for the dogs that are
seaching for people in the NYC wreckage).
 
I sent them money because I've had a lot of good experiences with Jeffers over
the year, but how do you tell that a chairity or a cause is for real?  Is
there a web site of bogus causes?
