I just got a call from PETA's Domestic Animal Issues department.

The building where the ferrets are at is air conditioned and they are
receiving food and water on a regular basis.  There is no date set for
euthanization.  The shelter director would like to hear from rescue
groups with some sort of references in order to avoid sending them to
the same situation they were in.  The shelter number is 801-444-2200
