I had the best ferrets when it came to using the litterbox. I was proud
of them. Then, a friend of mine moved away and left me with a ferret she
couldn't bring. He was *terrible* about using the litterbox. It didn't
take long for my girls to learn his cool new trick. Sadly, he died of a
gall bladder tumour but his legacy lives on. I am becoming increasingly
frustrated with litterbox misses. I've tried all of the usual tricks:
crumpled towels in popular corners, little piles of food, sitting with a
squirt gun poised and ready, linatone for the times that they decided to
be good. I'm not new to ferrets (8 years now) but if anyone out there has
a terrific idea that you would like to share, please email me. I've just
moved into a new apartment and I'd like to keep the carpets in this place
CLEAN!'
