I received a newsletter from the Furry Critter Network, and under the
Classified Ads it lists Exotic Rescue Organizations - of which Ferrets
have 8.  I would think this would be a good place to look if you are
looking for a ferret, and also rescue orgs.  may want to post an "ad"
listing their shelter.  Ads are FREE to the rescue orgs. & shelters,
and they can be re-listed for free every 6 mos.  The link is
