LOL!  Could not avoid laughing because we personally go the direct-savings
route.  instead.  Know what you mean, though, and glad that the site info
was so very helpful for you.  We have a clump of ferrets all in too much
of the same age-bracket right now (due to some special needs ones that
wound up with us) and this year with 7 ferrets we so far have spent over
$9,000 in medical costs.  It's a very aberrant year, but such years DO
happen, and the ferrets need the care and must receive the care; that's
just that.

Most of what I have read has said "at least 8 months", so we waited a year
ourselves -- didn't even go into any stores that were selling ferrets or
visit anyone with ferrets.  Perhaps that was over-kill but we had so many
so sick and three with permanent damage from that really bad strain so we
just waited, figuring that "at least" meant it wasn't fully known.  I can
tell you that the year did work in our case.
