Have a couple important bits of information about rooms for the 2002
International Ferret Symposium next year in Vegas. But first, wanted to
clear something up. I will not be taking any ferrets from the Utah rescue
as previously reported. In Lisette's enthusiasm, she misunderstood what
I said. I said that I had been sewing hammocks for the babies and was
hoping to make it to Lima to help Julie with the monumental tasks of
unloading and situating so many babies. Alas...my schedule did not allow
me the time to get there...but I do have hammies I will be sending. I
have 3 ferrets and financially, that is all I can handle! But should I
win the lotto in the coming weeks, you can expect my numbers to increase!

Now to business! The Imperial Palace has made some King Suites and
Mini-suites available to me. Pictures of these rooms can be seen on their
website. These are nice rooms-I toured them last June when I was out
there-the tubs are heavenly, but keep in mind, these only have King size
beds. The number of suites available are limited, so if you want one, you
need to let me know right away! Price per night is as follows:

King Suite: 1/31 $109.00, 2/1 $129.00, 2/2
$129.00 and 2/3 $109.00

Mini-suite (LuvTub) 1/31 $79.00, 2/1 89.00. 2/2
$89.00 and 2/3 $79.00

Like I said, quantities are limited and will be reserved on a first come
basis.

Also, I will be turning in a rooming list the end of this week to the
Imperial Palace. If I am holding a room for you and you still need to
provide me with some information, you need to do that soon. Rooms are
going quickly and if I don't have your information, I cannot guarantee
your room! If you haven't reserved your room yet...I suggest you do that
soon! Remember, you can cancel up to 48 hours before arrival with NO
PENALTIES! It's better to reserve a room and end up having to cancel it,
than miss out on the great conference rate they have given us!

Thanks!
Judy Cooke
