Actually, avoid the turkey and chicken in grocery stores unless you intend
on cooking it, as it typically contains very high salmonella-counts (this
is true of most chicken-farm raised chicken, and all that have been sitting
in grocery displays for any time).  Use either freshly-ground meat from
freshly-killed, free-range chicken/turkey (free-range has very low
salmonella incidence) or use a 'cheat' such as Wysong's "pure meat and
organ" tinned feline/canine diet.
