We've done so well raising funds for NYC Ferrets with our fundraising
T-shirt, that we've created another T-shirt to help KATHRYN FREED with her
campaign. This is a not a ferret T-shirt. It's strictly a "Kathryn Freed
for Public Advocate" T-shirt and profits from the sale of this shirt will
be donated to her campaign.
This is a great way to show your support for all the time and work that
Kathryn has put into (and is still doing) ensuring the re-legalization of
ferrets in NYC. If you're a New York City resident please buy a T-shirt
(or two) and WEAR IT as much as possible between now and Election Day(s).
New Yorkers are much more likely to vote for a candidate if they've seen
or heard their name someplace. The very LEAST that we, as NYC ferret
supporters, can do after all that Kathryn has done for us is to be a
"walking bulletin board" for Kathryn by wearing the T-shirt as much as
possible and helping to get Kathryn's name out where the public can see it.
Let New York City see which candidate you support for our Next Public
Advocate. By supporting Kathryn Freed's campaign, you are supporting our
*best* chance for legalizing ferrets early next year.

==================================
*For those of you who are new to NYC Ferrets' legalization efforts, Council
Member Kathryn Freed is the ONLY politician who took the time to listen
to what ferret owners had to say about the New York City ferret ban when
everybody else turned away. Kathryn Freed authored a bill (a bill is a law
in progress) to legalize ferrets in NYC and spent over two years calling
and meeting with other Council Members and legislators to help us get
ferrets legalized. Thanks mostly to her efforts, our bill WAS passed by
the City Council and would have become a law if the Mayor hadn't vetoed it
(turned it down).
Kathryn has pledged to continue to fight for the rights of ferret owners
early next year when a new Mayor and administration are in place. If
Kathryn is elected Public Advocate she will be in the *perfect* position to
help us legalize ferrets next year. All ferret supporters in NYC's five
boroughs owe Kathryn a tremendous debt of gratitude. To read more about
Kathryn Freed's efforts on our behalf, to find out more about her campaign
for Public Advocate, and to read about some of the other issues Kathryn's
fought hard for, visit the NYCFerrets website.
