The Yahoo group Ferret Sitters for Disaster Response is basically a table
listing the information of people making available their homes to those
responding to any kind of call up.

If you go to the site, sign up,
then go to the left hand column and click database
 
then click on Ferret Sitter (its the only one there)
 
It will take you to the table to fill in.
 
Click ADD RECORD  and fill in your data.
 
Hopefully, with this as one location, anyone in need can go directly to it
and find out how far the nearest one is, willingness to drive to pick up
the fur babies, their name and e-mail address.
 
Please, the list is open, unmoderated.  The only control is that only the
moderator can edit text on the data base.  This is to prevent someone
from altering anothers data.
