I wanted to add that sometimes when a ferret grinds their teeth it is
because of an intestinal obstruction.  However if that is the case they
will stop eating and drinking and paw at their mouth.  Ulcers are another
cause.  If your ferret stops eating or drinking take them to the vet
sooner rather than later.
