Hi everyone, I haven't been reading this list for a while, just too much
going on right now in my life.  As some of you know, my Father was very ill
for months and just recently passed away on June 25th.  I took it pretty
hard, even though he had been sick for a long while, I was in denial and
thought he would get better.  Now there are other things going on also.
 
The drawing for the slot machine was re-scheduled due to all of this.  I
did not raise the amount that was paid for the stupid thing and I had so
hoped I would raise more than that because I was going to give 3 shelters
$50 each.  I did not want to let them down.  I thought it would do better
than it did.  I will be holding the drawing in the next couple of weeks,
maybe even this week-end.  I don't plan to draw the winner, it's going to
be done at a business here in town.  I'm going to find out when will be
good for them.  I have also been sort of harassed by someone who claims
they bought 2 tickets, the name is d.Eckert@aol , I don't know who they
are, but they are very upset that the drawing was delayed and they have
threatened to call the state of Florida.  I would think people have better
things to do over $2.  They think it is a scam.  If the drawing had been
done when originally planned it would have been right in the middle of my
dad's slow death.  I wasn't leaving the house and going anywhere but to
the hospital and my Moms.  I still don't go anywhere now since his death.
I asked this person to please have some respect and let me finish my
grieving, nope, they are being nasty and persistent.  I'm about the most
honest person anyone could meet.  I'm sometimes too honest for my own good.
