I had the same thing happen here with a plastic bell ball from Petco - they
are $0.49 and seem perfect. The ferrets just adore them, they make a great
sound. But I found one shattered the very same day I brought it home. So
these are a no-no in my home now.
I'm glad you put the phrase in there "in my household". Some ferrets may
do fine with certain toys while they could be a danger to others. It's
important to watch your ferrets and know their habits so you know what is
safe :for them: I take away toys that are worn or have loose parts because
I have a couple chewers.
