Hello all. It's been awhile since I posted and wanted the people who have
MF ferrets that are deaf to know I have one as well. I was going to do
what the person wanted to do, email MF and ask about their guarantee. That
was until I began to think and ask myself if they would put the deaf ferret
to sleep. I found out that was how they take care of their guarantee and I
know I could never have that on my conscience for the rest of my life. I
did find a wonderful web site Wolfy has
http://www.geocities.com/wolfysluv
all about deafness in certain ferrets and how to train them. She has been
a huge help for me even is she doesn't know me personally. I now have a
6 month old blaze ferret who is learning each day to stop biting me and
learning how to come to me using hand signals. Thank you Wolfy !!! Okay
I know I am rambling on too much but wanted the person who asked about MF
ferrets to know they are not alone. It is a shame that they still breed
blaze ferrets knowing full well about the defect. But that is another
story we know about from past posts here.

ferret hugs,
Michele
