Greetings all!
 
I too saw Brigette on Animal Planet.  (I agree also with someone's
assessment of PLanet's Funniest Animals -- their work is purile and
unrefined... they have a poor grasp of character and plot, and the work
lacks all of the Aristotelian...oh, never mind...;))
 
I saw the ferret segment while waiting for Azreal to have baby kitties!!!!
It was so great.  She had six live babies, but the next day one of them
was obviously distressed.  I noticed he wasn't eating, and when I tried
to get him to a nipple he latched on but didn't suck.  I thought maybe I
could hand feed him with formula, but upon closer inspection it looked
like he was having trouble breathing and he did pass away later the next
day.  I was sad, but Azreal told me that this stuff happens.  She's a very
pragmatic kitty and a great mommy.  We had a funeral for the little guy.
The other five are doing well, and Mab is so excited; she can't wait for
them to be old enough to play with her!  Azreal doesn't even mind when Mab
sneaks into the forbidden bathroom and sniffs at the kittens.  When we
first got Mab, Azreal thought she was a kitten herself, so maybe that has
something to do with it.
