Please be very careful when mixing different types or makes of flea
treatments, some make it quite plain in the instructions that some
products CANNOT be applied within 28 days of others containing different
insecticides.  Just read the instructions carefully as washing does not
remove some treatments from the ferret coat.
 
I had some very sick ferrets and dogs about 10 years ago due to not
reading the instructions properly.  The flea treatment I used then has
since been removed from the market in the UK but you cannot be too
careful with your ferrets.
