Greetings Folks!!

The open house was fun, for the most part. Adopted out 6 fur angels.

But this is the real reason for the post, a friend of mine works for a
national distributor, and one of their clients is Shepherd and Greene.
They are visiting the shelter Wednesday. The person from Shepherd and
Greene asked if I would post and find out what ferret owners wanted to
see on the shelves for their ferrets.

So, here is your chance to have your voice heard by a manufacturer, email
me your opinions and ideas, I will print them out and give them to the
Shepherd and Greene rep. Who knows, your idea may end up making the lives
of ferrets and their parents everywhere happier and healthier, and easier.

I for one would like to see a litter box that bolts to the cage like the
crocks do. And cut the prices on those clear dryer tubes. Hey if a
shelter can afford to sell them for $10, why not them? Not everyone is
near a shelter that can get a hold of them. Oh, and how about backing
Modern Ferret? Or at least helping them get out into the public more?

So put your thinking hats on and write!! It is your chance to be heard,
it is your chance to put your two cents in.

Speaking of Modern Ferret, THANK YOU Eric and Mary. They donated a
beautiful print of Cauliflower to raffle off! (When I opened the
package I was dumb founded, it looked like my Maznoone)

And Totally Ferret sent us samples and information for the adoption kits,
great support for the effort and short notice.

Thanks to all that helped, Lana, Jeff, Kat (those afghans are beautiful),
Bev (I made her give shots, never mind she and Gary donated 40 doses of
distemper vaccine) .

Thanks to all that made it, and if you didn't, there are still lots of
lovable kids here.

Thank you to all the people who care about the kids in shelters, not
only here, but across the world. Shelter Moms and Dads couldn't do it
without you.
