we have barriers too...and the only way we have found to keep the
fuzzies... MONKEY(SHINE) by name!!!...in is to get a length of that gray
pvc pipe they use for plumbing...withOUT the holes!...about 4-5 inches in
diameter...cut it to fit side to side...and make a cut lengthwise so you
can fit it OVER the top of the barrier...and push it down...
 
does not actually raise the height of the barrier..but makes it so they
can not get hold of anything when they jump except slippery plastic pipe...
 
AND makes it so i can still get over the barriers...without re-moving
anything...
 
keeps mine in...
