This is in response to Lori Crawford request for Medication tips.
 
Lori,
 
You didn't say if the prednisone was pill form or liquid.  If it is liquid,
you might consider getting the pill form.  WHen you do, crush the pill
either with a pill crusher or between two spoons.  Put some ferrettone on
the spoon to cover the prednisone and you shouldn't have any problem
getting your ferret to take his medicine in that manner.
