About 8 weeks ago I came across a 6 week old female fuzzy in need of a
home. Loving 5 fuzzies already and never having a baby I took Hershey home
with me. All my other fuzzies I adopted as adults. I have 2 females that
get along great with Hershey. Then I have 1 female and 2 males that attack
her horribly. The female that attacks Hershey is so docile and calm and
peaceful under normal conditions I never would of expected this from her.
Hershey cries, screams,and sometime poopies herself . I can't have a
peaceful and loving household like this. Everyone needs to learn to get
along but I don't know what else to try. I would appreciate any ideas.
Here are the things I have already tried:
housing next to each other so they could see and smell each other but not
get to each other.
introduce one at a time and let them sniff each other in a safe
environment.
show each of the aggressive ones that when I hold Hershey I can pet and
love them too.
There might be others but off the top of my head this is all I can think
of. I have never ever had this problem before but everyone was adults when
they came here. I am lost and don't want to have to worry about injury all
the time. I also need to be able to let all fuzzies out together to play.
I hate having to keep Hershey confined when the others are out playing.
Thanks for any ideas you might have.
Tracy, Beastie Boy, Cujo, Baby Girl, Zip, Zap, and Hershey.
