And it's a baby duck at that.  About the size of a big chicken egg.  Duh,
just what we need, a DUCK!  Anyway, it bit Cheyenne right on the nose.  I
was holding Cheyenne up to the carrier grill and the baby duck zipped over
and took a swipe at her.  This is gonna be one spunky duck!
 
What happened was - it was running across the road by K-Mart tonight.  No
mama duck in sight, and it was crying wildly, so we stopped the car and
caught it.  The only duck family I saw had much larger babies, so unless
I find the right group - I guess we got a duck to raise.
 
On another note, Milo has been going under the plastic wagon, laying on
his back and kicking with his feet, trying to tip the wagon over.  It's a
pretty loud form of amusement and always makes me decide I should check
to see what's going on.
