We got another ferret last Saturday.  We were killing time
at the mall waiting for Lawnmower Man and wandered into the
Petland.  They had eight kits, not yet eight weeks old, and
wasn't he the cutest of the lot.  Little white chin, little
white splotch on his neck, little white mitts,
and little white knees.  He was a perfect gentleman
while we held him (for half an hour) in the store,
not laying a tooth on either of us.
 
However, Grover doesn't appear to have much hearing
and doesn't respond to our voice, hand claps, or
the Squeeky Toy from Hell and sleeps with a soundness
I can only dream of.
 
I heartily recommend that you all go out and get
a little, tiny, baby ferret today.  What a rush!
