Well, I hate to see any ferret vomit repeatedly, but if it hasn't recurred,
and he is continuing to eat - I wouldn't rush straight to the vet.  Let's
just watch and see.
 
Every animal (including man) occasionally vomits, and not every time is it
an emergency.  The key is that if it is repeated over a period of hours,
or if the animal shows other evidence of GI disease, such as blood in the
vomit, diarrhea, not eating, etc.
 
I usually wait for one of these to occur before making that run to the vet.
