Hi.  No matter what your vet says, ANY animal can have a reaction to ANY
medication or vaccine, just like people.  There's no such thing as
something NO ONE will have a rxn to-look at how many food allergies there
are.  Our vet and vaccination clinic also use "ferret vaccines" and they
still premedicate with Benadryl and have us stick around for 45 minutes or
so after the vaccinations in case they have a reaction.  Sounds like your
vet could use a little more ferret education...
