After three trips to the emergency room, I have recently found out that my
biggest problem is a full-blown allergy to my ferret boys. Much as I hate
it, I need to find them a new home. Both are youngsters, 4 months and 6
months. The 4-month-old's name is Buddy. He is champagne colored and
loves tomatoes and playing with Jake. The 6-month-old is Jake. I'm not
sure what his official color is--sort of a dark goldish-brown. He loves
to sleep and play with Buddy. The two are very attached to one another,
so I would like to place them as a pair. They do nip a bit when they want
to play, but seem to remember how to act if you put them back in their
cage for a short while. They are litter-trained well in the cage and
partially outside of the cage. They have not had their shots yet (every
time I scheduled an appointment I got sick again) but I am going to try
again for next week. I had planned to ask for $250 and to include their
cage [4 story, several beds, etc] and miscellaneous toys, meds and food,
but the price is negotiable. If anyone knows of another place I should
advertise this, please let me know. I would also appreciate not being
flamed for making this decision--it was a very difficult one, but is
necessary.
